Communion Offering Collection offerings are given monthly in conjunction with the taking of communion. The funds collected are used for local relief efforts. Bridge Over Trouble Water Bus Mobile Food Pantry The Bridge Over Troubled Water Food Pantry Bus continues to expand its reach to better serve families across Cass County and the South Kansas City metro. Transitioning from a traditional brick-and-mortar location to a mobile pantry was not an easy decision, but it was the right one. The need in our community has grown rapidly, and mobility allows them to reach more people, reduce transportation barriers, and serve neighborhoods where food access remains limited. Every mobile stop includes: Fresh and shelf-stable food Client-choice distribution whenever possible Resource navigation support Connections to additional FRCCC services Care coordinators available onsite If you would like to make a donation to Bridge Over Troubled Water through CrossRoads, please make your check out to CrossRoads UMC and note on the memo line "BOTW.” Eagles Community Outreach A Cass County nonprofit program, aimed at assisting Cass County families who have limited income and/or minimum paying jobs, who work, and earn too much for government assistance.
